Stage 8’s locking system provides OVER 20 TIMES the amount of breakaway torque resistance to cap screw loosening rotation compared to the standard locking plate.

The Stage 8 Cap Screw Locking System is currently under review by the AAR WABL (Wheels, Axles, Bearing & Lubrication) Committee, and is scheduled to undergo field testing in unit train service.
