World of Outlaws(WoO) sprint cars compete on dirt tracks in the U.S.  mostly 1/3 to ½ mile in length. The WoO series has been in existence since 1978 and is acknowledged as the top Sprint Car Series in the World. www.woosprint.com

WoO race venues are primarily smaller facilities located in B/C/D counties accessible to major media markets. Television exposure with TNN(1995 to 2000) Speed Channel 2002 and our new partnership with ESPN2 and Speed for 2007. Additionally there has been a surge in the construction of new racing facilities in several markets, adding to the recent growth of the sport. Attendance in 2005 exceeded 1.5 million spectators are included in over 85 race nights.

WoO Sprint cars Are front engine, open wheel race cars with V-8 Engines producing 850+ horsepower in a car that weighs approximately 1375 pounds, providing one of the highest power-to-weight ratios of any racing series in the world. WoO sprint cars are characterized by large aluminum wu=ings, which create down increasing speed and absorbing energy in crashes

The origin of “Outlaw” name dates to a time when top sprint car drivers traveled around the country to compete wherever the largest prize money was offered. The “Outlaws” competed against the best local and regional drivers, usually taking the biggest share of the prizes.
